diagnosis:
Vegetative shoots with helically arranged bifacial leaves. Branching patterns not known. Leaves linear to narrow oblanceolate with an obtuse apex and square base. Ovuliferous cone compound with bract-dwarf shoot complexes helically arranged around axis. Bract linear with smooth margin and optuse apex. Dwarf shoots bilaterally symmetrical, longer than wide, with five partially fused scales; one wide concave ovateto obovate median scale, two narrow ovate fertile lateral scales, and two small ovate sterile scales with acute to obtuse apex at intermediate positions.
