Compound polysperms up to 12cm long. Bracts lanceolate, about 2 mm wide
and more than I cm long. Seed scales sessile, nearly circular or elongated,
about 10mm long. Marginal, abaxial and submarginal adaxial projections obtuse,
parallel sided, 2 mm long and 1-2 mm wide. Abaxial projections arranged in crossed
oblique rows. Seeds at least two per scale; megaspore membrane thick.
Vegetative shoots of the Geinitzia type.
Axis of compound paniculate polysperm continuing from leafy branch. Seed scales and free subtending bracts arranged in a loose helix. Bracts simple and well developed. Seed scales isometric or elongated, with marginal, abaxial and submarginal adaxial projections, bearing more than one seed.
