genus
Type-species: Dolomitia cittertiae Clement-Westerhof, 1987
Conifer. Shoots bearing spirally arranged bifacial leaves. Heterophylly may occur.
Ovuliferous dwarf-shoots more or less bilaterally symmetrical, provided with many sterile scales and three fertile scales of which two are laterally emerging and recurved and one median on the adaxial side, all showing basally on their abaxial surface a place of ovule attachment. Sterile and fertile scales moderately connate, basal part of dwarf-shoot stalklike and relatively short, indicating partial fusion with bract.
