diagnosis: 

Primary axis bearing helically arranged bracts, each with an axillary ovulate cone. Bracts lanceolate to oblanceolate with parallel venation. Ovulate cone elongate, terminally producing 8-16 helically arranged scales with 1-3 ovules.

Spermatophyta Incertae sedis, with its affinities most likely being either with or intermediate between Vojnovskyales and Coniferales of the Angaran flora
